Yesterday, Fr. Minh came back for summer. He is studying in Paris and he was in my first English class. Now his French is excellent. Smiling like that he looks like a young Tom Jones. Glad to have you back at the dinner table, Father.
This is Tan. He went with me two years ago as my guide to Hue. Tan came over this Sunday morning for a visit with his old teacher (me). He is discerning his vocation to the priesthood and looking at the Jesuits, the Franciscans, and perhaps the Dominicans. Whichever he chooses, he will be a fine priest.
