In the summers I spend time with my good friends in Phat Diem, Vietnam, a small country village with a world famous cathedral. Here are some of my musings. If you would like to correspond, please email me: garymeegan@gmail.com.

Children's Art Class...Day 1, Part 1
At 4:00, we all went to see the music students in Room 7 for their art lesson. The anticipation as we handed out the paper, paints, and crayons was palpable. But even though they were excited, each student stayed quietly in their seat, showing respect to the "older brothers." Then it was an hour of tremendous concentration, decisions, and fun. Tomorrow another new set of children to make art with.
