Last Breakfast in Phat Diem

This morning, Cooper got to ring the bell. I missed him ringing it by about three seconds, so I made him pose. Let's pretend I was there on time and this was an action shot. It would make a better story.
Since breakfast was bun (broth with rice noodles, chicken, and green onions), the guys each went to grab a bowl of noodles, chicken, and the onions, then present it to sister who then poured the hot broth on top.
A picture of the breakfast line for bun.
Sister always smiles for the camera and Adam is getting ready to eat one of his favorite meals.
More standing in line with Tino, Chris, Cooper's forehead, and Evan.
To the right of Evan, Carlo, and Michael are the bowls lined up ready to be filled with fresh broth.
After the meal, Fr. Bo decided there was no need to rush, so we relaxed and talked for a longtime.
By chance, all of the students who are of Asian descent sat down at the same table.

Here is Teacher Kyle with Fr. Bo. Fr. Bo (the name means father) looked after all of us and helped make the Serra students not only feel safe but cared for. Thanks, Fr. Bo.

On the way out of the dining room we stopped to thank the sisters who cooked for us. It was a special moment as they look upon their ministry to us as a work of love for us and for God. Thank you, sisters, for taking care of  us this way.
