Making Cabinets

There are many rooms for guests here on the cathedral grounds and the bishop is having cabinets for clothes made. So, the workers bring their tools and materials here to make them all from scratch. Here, a door panel is routed. Notice the lack of American safety procedures. People here do what they can with what they have.
Next, grooves of the panel are sanded smooth not only to fit in well but also to look good.

Next, the panel is belt sanded.

The pieces are then glued together to make the cabinet.

Finally, the finish is applied to the cabinets and left out to dry.

Here are some finished pieces. I can only imagine the cost in America for a handmade piece like this.
