Student Retreat Day

All of the students of the minor and major seminary had a retreat day today, including those who are pre-seminarians, over 120 of them. They prayed the rosary together, listened to a sermon, and then had eucharistic adoration.

Everyone had lunch together and it was fun. Over 75 of them have been my students, so we had a chance to talk and laugh.
In the afternoon, I visited the English class for those studying for the test to enter the minor seminary. As you can see, they all take me very seriously.
Me giving thought-provoking and deep advice about the subtleties of the English language (or something like that).
Playing English language games with my iPad mini. It's amazing what technology can do to heighten not only interest, but also learning. I saw impressive gains in only a few minutes.
It's important that they pass the English part of the test in order to be admitted. Last year, all of the students did and we celebrated. Please keep this year's students in your prayers.
