Binh, Vinh, Nam, and Nam Vu Come to Visit

Two days ago, special visitors came from Hanoi. I met them the first year I came when a little boy named Nam came up to me at the Museum of Ethnography in Hanoi and asked, "Hello. Can I speak English to you?" Ever since then we have been talking, emailing, and speaking and writing English. Each year we get together to spend time together.
Here is the family and I. That's Nam on the left, just graduated from high school, little brother Nam Vu, me (with the flowers, how cool), Vinh, an artist who works for the television station in Hanoi, and Binh, famous English teacher.
Nam is going to Wooster Polytechnic Institute this fall in Massachusetts, majoring in robotics. He is the guy who writes programs and makes all sorts of crazy things that actually work.
Here is Nam Vu teaching one of the English classes that the seminarians run here three days a week. He was a hit, and worked hard.
Miss Binh had a long session with the high school students. She not only helped them in English, but  talked about what it means to work hard, to prepare for university and prepare for life. She is a role model to so many students.
Dinner was a special time. Here is Han, the driver for the trip. He teaches driving in Hanoi, a job for which he is well-suited because he is so easy-going and patient. Also pictured is Vinh and Fr. Bo. That day was Fr. Bo's feast day, because he is also named for the saint of the day, St. Anthony.
On your  feast day, everyone gets wine and beer, a mini-party, along with flowers. It's always fun. Congratulations to Fr. Bo for another year of handling the money for the diocese and for being the chaplain for the sisters who love him dearly.
