Saturday Chore Time

Saturday afternoon is time to spruce up the place. To begin with, all the bonsai need watering. This is done either by using the hose or (ugh!) taking the water one pail at a time. Here Huy is showing one of the junior high boys how to do it.
It takes an expert to not only water, but also pose for the camera.
One of the girls is helping sister tend the garden. Most of the greens eaten are grown right here, which not only saves money, but makes sure that they are fresh and clean.
Sang has the job of washing the doors with all the slats. Lots of small places to get clean.

Tuan enjoys washing the doors, too. He gives the "Hi sign." You see, in Vietnamese, two is "hai."
Nhan loves sweeping the floor. This is in the building that is not yet finished, so there is lots of dust everywhere.
Bon decides that in order to mop the floor right, he has to use two mops. That way, he only has to do it once instead of twice.
Thang and Tuan attack a door. Tuan is getting a bit upset at all the slats.
Well, I guess not everyone has to work.
