On the weekends, only 70 children are left to stay overnight. These guys were hanging out and I thought it would be the perfect time to bring out the free frisbee I got from Wells Fargo.
After making the circle, we got down to it. We were all pretty bad at it, and the wind didn't help any. Also, the stray soccer ball or two got in the way a few times.
You can see the tremendous technique exhibited by this little guy. The intensity was overwhelming, as was the laughter when it wasn't caught or it hit someone in the face. Ah, the fun of sports.
We finally got into some cool leg action. Each had their own funny way of stepping into the throw. The bell for dinner rang and we begrudgingly had to go. But everyone want to continue next week.
In the summers I spend time with my good friends in Phat Diem, Vietnam, a small country village with a world famous cathedral. Here are some of my musings. If you would like to correspond, please email me: garymeegan@gmail.com.
