The air conditioning just stopped cold (!) the other morning, not a good thing in the summer. Mr. Dao came and looked then decided a professional was required. When he came, he was joined by one of the seminarians. Here is Nhan standing precariously on the ladder
The repairman decided not to remove his motorbike helmet. I'm not quite sure why. The guys went between the interior of my room and the back outside to the compressor countless times to try to figure it out. Mr. Dao looks on cautiously.
Mr. Dao then decided to just take the wires from the top, splice in a long cord, and try plugging it into the outlet next to my bed. Nhan is watching the repairman up on the ladder.
The repairman checked the remote often. It took a long time, but they finally got it going again. Now the only problem with cooling is when the power goes out, like it did this afternoon.
