On Wednesday evening, we took an evening boat ride on the famous Perfume River. The river is very calm and the boats barely rocked. The lights of the hotels and shops on the shore were beautiful. The entertainment was a quintet of traditional Hue singers along with three instrumentalists. I could not understand the words, but the music was evocative.
You can barely make out the three instrumentalists in the left corner.
As we were docking, one of the passengers asked if she could have her picture taken with me. Her company was meeting and many were on the boat with us. She gave me a pin from her company as a gift.
