Each afternoon about four o'clock I visit Sr. Lua. We talk English and I answer her questions about the language. She works at the sister's store next to the cathedral, and yesterday, these kids dropped by. Too funny for words.
I had my iPhone so that Sr. Lua could practice with some English apps. After a while of not using this, this boy picked up the iPhone, figured out how to use, went to the games folder, and promptly began playing Asphalt 6. In 15 minutes he had figured out how to work the game and was racing at Daytona.
All kids want their picture taken, and these kids even more so. This first picture was supposed to be serious. Well, most of them were serious.
The second was to be a funny one. You can guess which of the children loves the camera.
In the summers I spend time with my good friends in Phat Diem, Vietnam, a small country village with a world famous cathedral. Here are some of my musings. If you would like to correspond, please email me: garymeegan@gmail.com.
