Coffee, Tickets, and the Pine Forest

After visitng the sisters, we went for drinks at the Perfume River. It was peaceful and quiet, with soft music in the background.
Loc being wistful.
We then went to buy tickets for an evening cruise on the Perfume River. Hue is the home of many sculptures, and we found an enormous outdoor sculpture court alongside the river.
These are the boats that cruise the river. Colorful and exotic, they take their time and are never in a rush.
Next we went to the place where the king would pray along with his people. There is a huge pine forest, about 3/4 mile square, that has at its center a vast raised stone platform on which the king would pray. What I liked about the forest was that it was cool and dark, but not scary.
There are four long walkways and steps up to where the king would pray, one from each direction of the compass.
Nhat is taking the place of the king in the center of the platform. The platform is enormous and gives an eerie feeling, like something is going to happen.
