Here I am with Fr. Vong last Friday. He is doing graduate work at the Dominican School in Berkeley and stopped by to leave some things with me so I can take them to Phat Diem. I have to say that he has a great smile, and we both promised to spend time together after I get back. The painting over the piano? Dad had that painted for mom in the 1950s after one by Picasso. I have always liked it, so I got that and Lisa got the ballet girl lamps. There's a great story there.
In the summers I spend time with my good friends in Phat Diem, Vietnam, a small country village with a world famous cathedral. Here are some of my musings. If you would like to correspond, please email me: garymeegan@gmail.com.
